Helpful Expert Reply:
In order to tow a trailer with a 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport you'll need a trailer hitch to start, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13396 which has a bolt-on install and class III rating with 2" receiver tube opening. Then, you can add the trailer wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56297 which is plug-in play. Finally, you can add the ball mount/hitch ball for which I recommend etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900.
