I keep seeing that its compatible with 2.7L but to check compatibility with your vehicle there is no option to change the trim. I have the TRD off road and see nothing about this block heater working with my truck.

The Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater - Frost Plug Style - 120V - 400 Watts - 35 mm Item # KH11481 is not compatible with the 3.5L on the 2017 Toyota Tacoma. The only option for the 3.5L is the Kat's Heaters Ether Start Fluid Injection System - 3.3L to 4.9L Engine - 12V - 18 oz - Automatic Item # KH33220. This kit gives the engine a shot of ether to help start ups in cold weather.
