How Far Does Frame Stick Out of Thule Elite Van XT 2-Bike Rack for 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 3500

Question:

Hi, I have a 2017 Mercedes sprinter van with a swing out stow away brand cargo box mounted on the receiver hitch.... clearance to door is about 4 or 5 inches. Top of box is even with the door handle, so I estimate only about 5 inches of the Thule rack would be behind the cargo box Question: how far out does the actual frame, not the bike platform, stick out from the back of the van? I know it is angled at the ends, then appears to be parallel to the back of the van. I would like to use both at the same time... Thanks

According to Thule, the frame of the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Sprinter Rear Door # TH302043 measures 9-7/8 inches from the mounting points to the frame.
