Replacing 18.5x8.50-8 Tires with a 5.70-8 Trailer Tire

Question:

Can I replace my snowmobile trailer tires 18.5/8.5-8 tires and rims load range C with 8 x5.7 load C ? I have new axel and now tire width is too wide. Thanks

The Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with Wheel part # AM30155 measures 18" diameter x 5.9" wide and fits a standard 5 on 4" bolt pattern. The 18.5x8.50-8 tire measures 17.25" diameter x 8.6" wide. Therefore, the new size will be slightly larger in diameter by .75" and smaller in width by 2.7".

I don't know how much space you have but you should be able to use the above to answer your question.
