Which Style of Taillights Does 2010 Volvo V50 Have for Installing Trailer Wiring
Updated 10/13/2020 | Published 10/09/2020 >
Question:
Hi, I purchased a Curt 59236 wiring harness, and trying to install on my 2010 Volvo V50. I seems to be a PWM system, but I cant figure out the proper wires to connect. Turn signals are easy, but struggling with the tail and brakes lights. If it is a PWM system, according to the Curt diagram, I should ground the brown, and connect the red to the tail / stop wiring. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks,

Actually your 2010 Volvo V50 shouldn't have PWM style taillight wiring. Instead it's just considered separate wiring which you can easily use the # C59236 by using the 3 wire wiring instructions.
