When pulling a trailer with a 2017 Advance MDX, do I need to add a transmission cooler?

Adding a transmission cooler to your vehicle that is towing a trailer is usually a good idea. The extra weight added by the trailer and its cargo puts additional strain on your vehicle's transmission, causing it to run hotter which will shorten the life of your transmission in the long run. For your 2017 Acura MDX, I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13501. This is a Class II transmission cooler and uses turbulator plates for more efficient cooling.
