After some research and checking the Thule fitguide, I have found the Thule OutWay 3 Bike Carrier # TH56BV is a compatible fit for your 2010 Volvo S40 with a factory spoiler. This rack features anti-sway cradles, a cable lock, and a patented dial system for mounting the rack to your vehicle.
If you plan on carrying women's or children's bikes, you may be interested in the Thule Bike Adapter # TH982XT.
