Correct Way to Measure Lug Nuts
Updated 10/02/2020 | Published 09/30/2020 >
Question:
I don’t have a socket to measure my lug nuts. If I use a tape measure do I measure flat to flat across or do I measure corner to corner. Measuring flat to flat I come up with 1 inch. Corner to corner I come up with 1 3/16 inch. I’m trying to determine the correct size I need for the chrome lug nut covers. Thanks

Lug nuts are measured across the flats, so you need a 1" lug nut cover. The Wheel Master Lug Nut Covers # WM8010 you were looking at would work.
