Question:
I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado with the tow package. Do I need a 30amp fuse for my truck? Do I need anything else like a harness for the Redarc elite controller?

There are no other parts required for your 2018 Chevy Colorado with the factory 7-way in order to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR.
Since you have the factory tow package with the 7-way, all l you need to do is connect the wiring under the dash and you're set. The Tow-Pro Elite is a great choice as well because of its control knob which keeps a cumbersome unit out of the cab of your Chevy, and because it gives you more control over your trailer braking power than any other brake controller.
