Question:

Car is a 2011 Infiniti G37X sedan. Shopping for reasonably priced roof rack that will work with a Yakima Forklift bike rack, which seems like it will fit almost any crossbar size. Not married at all to the Yakima brand. What are options you recommend? I did watch your videos - helpful, but if Im going to order something, I want to make sure Ive got the right fit. Thx

You are correct that the Yakima ForkLift # Y02098 will fit on most crossbars, so you won't be limited to any particular bar style, but there are some advantages of using aero style bars including the reduction of wind noise during travel. If you're planning on driving any distances with your bike, the wind noise can be a bit annoying, but using a roof rack with more aerodynamic bars can help reduce that quite a bit.
