Is there a certain way to measure your fifth wheel hitch to determine which size lube pad you need? I have a Husky 16K S.

The size lube plate needed will be dependent on the size of the skid plate on your 5th wheel hitch. For a Husky Silver Series 5th wheel hitch like yours, you'd want to use a 10 inch plate like the # HT34914 that you'd looked at. Hitches with a larger skid plate such as the Reese # RP30922 M5 Series would use a 12 inch lube plate like # RP83001.
Measuring the width of the skid plate will give you an idea of the lube plate needed. You'll want a plate that covers as much as the plate as possible. If you go too large, the lube plate can hang off the edges of the skid plate and can break if you're turning at a downward or upward angle.
