Question:

2008 chevy silverado extended cab short bed. will these work with a 5th wheel hitch the bracktets for the hith bolt to the outside of the frame. the brackets run about 1foot in front and 1foot behind the axle thanks,

The Timbren system, # TGMRTT15S, installs on the bottom of the frame. As long as the 5th wheel bracket does not wrap around to the bottom of the frame it will not interfere. Timbren lists this kit as a fit for service vehicles only. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

For a non-service vehicle, use # TGMRTT15S. It installs the same way and will not interfere. I have linked instructions for this kit as well as a link to our FAQ article on Timbren systems for you. Please note both these kits fit a 1500 series. If you have a different series, let me know and I can make another recommendation.
