Could RVS Backup Camera and Monitor # RVS-7707721 Attach to Ram Tailgate Logo

Question:

I have a 2008 Ram 2500 4x4 short bed 4 door pickup that needs a backup camera. I have reviewed the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup camera system but would like a bigger monitor and a few other features. Wondering if I could custom fit the flush mount camera kit # RVS-7707721 into the Ram logo on my tailgate? The camera would be 15” higher than the license plate cameras and wouldn’t be where I step constantly. I don’t like drilling holes in my truck but through the logo would be fine. Also what are the differences in the RVS-6596137-NM kit that replaces the number above? Thank you.

If you wanted to install the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Flush Mount Camera # RVS-7707721 to the rear logo on your truck's tailgate that would certainly be possible.

This kit is the same thing as the RVS-6596137-NM but we just kept the old part number.
