Question:
My BAL stabilizers were damaged while trying to four-wheel in my Sunseeker 2860DS following a GPS on a Forest Service road. This looks like a great alternative to the scissor jacks that were there. The motorhome is mounted on a Ford E450 chassis, so the rails are much closer together than the 68 inches on the trailers. Could this work as a stabilizer for a motorhome? Thanks

The Lippert Components High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack - Black Waterproof Switch Kit - 30" Lift # LC298707 will not work because the mounting hole spacing is 68-11/16" from center-hole to center-hole. If your frame is between 48 and 80 inches then the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors - 30" Lift - 6,000 lbs # UF39-941705 will work.
If that won't fit, then the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks - 30" Lift - 6,500 lbs - Qty 2 # UF48-979031 is a good option that can use and electric drill and speed socket drill adapter # UF48-979005. This will give you as close to an electric stabilizer as will fit on the smaller frame.
