Question:

The description says the refrigerator is 30 3/4 inches tall but the video says 31 1/4 inches tall. Which is right and could it be the hinge covers? Could you do without the covers? I have 31 inches. Also, there is no ventilation in box area for fridge but there will be about 4 1/2 inches of empty space at bottom tapering to 19 1/2 at top rv van. The refrigerator is about 19 1/8 inches deep at top. Do I need a fan, a vent hole or it would be OK as is? My refrigerator cut out box is 24 inches wide X 31+ high X 24 1/2 deep tapering to 19 1/2 deep at top of box hole.

You're correct that the 31-1/4" measurement includes the cap over the hinge at the top of the # 324-000111, so it's going to be a tight squeeze; you could do without the cover, but I'm not sure how much it would help since there will be a hinge bolt sitting below it that still might get in the way. If you can't make that one fit, the next size down would be the Everchill # 324-000110 which is 19-1/2" tall.

You will want some sort of fan or vent for a refrigerator if you don't already have one. You can add a vent by using the Camco RV Refrigerator Vent Cover - Base Only # CAM42161 and Camco RV Refrigerator Vent Cover - Top Only # CAM42160. You could also use the Valterra FridgeCool Automatic Exhaust Fan for RV Refrigerators # A10-2618VP, which won't require you to cut a hole in your coach and will attach directly to the rear of the fridge.
