We do have options for you to wire your 2001 Toyota Sequoia, but the harness you mentioned will not work.

If you have a factory Tow Package, we have a Curt harness, product # C55246, that is very easy to install. I've linked a video of the installation for you.

If your vehicle does not have the factory Tow Package, you will need to use a universal kit. The kit by Tekonsha, product # 119178KIT is a good option. I've linked a video review for this kit. It's more difficult to install and requires some splicing, so I've also linked the installation guide for you.

Both of these options offer only a 4-way connector since there are no custom 5-ways for your vehicle. So, if you're wanting a 5-way, then you'll also need to get an adapter. We have one here, the Tow Ready Adapter, part # 20036. I've linked a review of this adapter as well.
