Will the Yakima Megawarrior Roof Basket with Extension Fit on a 2010 Chevy Traverse Roof Rack

Question:

Will the Yakima Megawarrior with extension, Dimensions: 74inch long x 48inch wide x 6-1/2inch tall, work on a 2010 Traverse with factory crossbars? If so what should the spread of the crossbars be? Thanks for your help.

I spoke to my contact at Yakima and found that the mounting feet of the Yakima Megawarrior Cargo Basket with Extension, # Y07080-82, will fit around the factory roof rack crossbars of your 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, but we will just want to make sure the crossbar spread will fit.

The Yakima MegaWarrior requires a crossbar spread of at least 36 inches when used with the extension. The crossbar spread is the distance between the center of the front crossbar and the center of the rear crossbar. Be sure to measure the spread between your crossbars to verify you can meet the 36 inch minimum.
