Yakima Showdown Requirements To Carry Two Hobie Compass Kayaks On Honda Crosstour

Question:

I have Honda Crosstour. What parts do you recommend to use two Yakima Showdown to carry two Hobie Compass Kayaks. Hobie Compass is 34inch wide. Could you also recommend parts with Thule Hullavator please? Thanks

We have options to get both of your kayaks up and onto your roof, but both The Yakima Showdown # Y04081 and the Thule Hullavator # TH898 are made to carry one Kayak. Having two of the carriers on top of your vehicle is not ideal because they are extremely long carriers and would require a crossbar longer than the ones that will work for you.

I would recommend getting this kit # RREB150B # RRRLKVA # RREB-FK1 # DK231

Nice thing about our carrier is that is a cost effective yet VERY functional option and they come with all the tie down straps you need to get your kayaks secured!

I've included a video of the roof rack set up and also me using our kayak carriers if you would like to see them in action!
