Will the 4,500-Watt Portable RV Generator Fit Inside the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray

Question:
If I keep the wheels off and mount this on the Stromberg Carlson Cargo Tray will this fit. Not sure if you all have tried or seen this possibly mounted on that cargo tray or not. The dimensions are close with the generator looking to be 25-3/4inch long x 21-3/4inch wide and the Cargo Tray being 32x20 not including the taper on the front. My thought was to leave the wheels off so the width might slide in on or under the 20 inch width of the cargo tray. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

The dimensions of the 4,500-Watt Portable RV Generator part # 333-0005 are 25-3/4" long x 21-3/4" wide x 21-5/8" tall which includes the wheels. I don't have any dimensions without the wheels but they look around 1" thick so the base is likely around 19"-20" wide without them. Therefore, it should fit inside the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier part # CC-255 but it would be very tight.
