Does the Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit Come With Different Length Shackles

Question:

Looking for a part number for a Dexter wet bolt kit for my tandem axle 5000 lb each with a 2 5/8 center to center shackle. The tires are under the deck and currently have very little clearance. Works fine just do not want to change length for ride height reasons.

The Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit part # K71-358-00 is only offered with one shackle strap length which is 3-1/8" long center to center. That said, it could be used to replace a 2-5/8" shackle strap without issue and the decrease in ride height would be extremely marginal and likely unnoticeable. It can be used on tandem axle trailers but you would need two kits.

If you wanted to keep the shackle straps you have now and still upgrade, the next best option would be to order the Never Fail Bushings part # LC279685 which have a lifetime warranty and are self-lubricating.
