Straight Tongue Coupler for 3 inch Channel for 2 inch Hitch Ball
Question:
I have a 2015 Kia Soul with a class 1 hitch. I am changing out my coupler which is a 1 7/8inch with a 3inch channel. Do I need to have a 1 7/8inch or can I do a 2? I only pull a 14foot aluminum boat and sometimes a small trailer.

You certainly can go to a coupler that uses a 2 inch ball like you mentioned. For that we have the Dutton Lainson # DL13897 which fits the 3 inch channel you have as well.
