Hello, I have a 2017 Jetta Sedan with a naked roof no fixed mounting points and Im looking at your Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black, Item # RR73MR I have two questions: 1. Do I need a vehicle-specific fit kit? 2. Can the following kayak mount fit this roof rack? - etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding - Universal Mount Please help. Thanks and regards

The Rhino Rack ROC25 roof rack kit for your 2017 VW Jetta, part # RR73MR does indeed include the vehicle specific clamp kit, as shown in the provided product description photo, so you won't need any other parts for a complete roof rack.
The etrailer brand # e98878 kayak carriers will fit on the Rhino-rack 3-1/8 x 1-3/16 inch crossbars with no issue. The etrailer model is inexpensive, it will fold flat for more overhead clearance when the kayaks are removed and includes the anchor straps which you can shut in the rear hatch and in the hood to provide connection points for the bow/stern tie downs. .
