I have a 2007 Motorhome that I purchased used from private seller. The steps are 32 series PN: 903209000. The step control on the unit currently is PN: 909510000 rev OE Date code: 6I19aPrevious owner might have changed. The steps do not work, when the 4 pin plug is first plugged in the step light comes on for a second but then goes out and that is all that happens. Tested all the functions per the manual and it seems to point to the control unit being bad. Local shop sold me a control unit PN: 1800709 rev OF date code 19L20I yesterday but the box says for #888. Is that control the right one? If not which control do I need. Thank you.

According to Lippert, there are two possibilities for the correct control module for your Kwikee Series 32 steps, and the correct one will depend on when the steps were manufactured. If the step assembly was manufactured in or before 2005, then the correct control is part # LC379606. If it was manufactured from 2006 to present, then the correct control unit is # LC379146.
