Difference Between the Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 #807350 and the Upgrade kit #807357

Question:
The Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 807350 full unit advertises 14 different fan speeds on the Dometic web site but the upgrade kit 807357 advertises only 3 speeds. Are they not the same? Thanks!

The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote part # FV807350 is a complete assembly that will completely replace an existing vent. The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Assembly Upgrade Kit part # FV807357 is designed as an add on to existing vents. The add on while not identical does give you the auto or manual setting and in manual you can choose between 7 fan speeds. The complete assembly has more options than what the stock photo shows on the remote.
