How To Route Air Line for Air Lift Single Needle Gauge Panel with One Paddle Switch
Updated 08/06/2020 | Published 08/04/2020 >
Question:
I have air bags on my Tacoma and currently fill them with a bike pump. I have an on board Viair compressor and would like to add this switch to fill my bags with air from the compressor. I currently have the compressor mounted in the truck bed and use a manual switch to turn it on, while I get a beer out of the ice chest in the bed. I would like to use this switch near my compressor in the bed so I can monitor the height as I stand outside at the tailgate, drinking beer. Can I simply run in and out air lines to this switch and use the switch after I turn on the compressor? I also have no need for the gauge to light up, so could I run this air switch without running electricity to it?

The Air Lift Single Needle Gauge Panel with One Paddle Switch part # AL26161 simply put is a manual pneumatic switch. It has a single exhaust and intake port for inflation and deflation. I have attached a photo below which should help with routing the air lines. In regards to the electrical connections, you can disregard these as they are not required for the switch to operate.
