Can the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons That Install Outside of Frame Be Used On Pontoon Trailer
Updated 08/06/2020 | Published 08/04/2020 >
Question:
The boat ramp that we use to load and unload the boat is rather steep. When the trailer is backed far enough into the water , the inside guides disappear . Do you make guides that fit outside the pontoon boat and are maybe tall enough to stick out of the water 4 or 5 feet?

The CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers part # CE27636 which install outside of the frame can be used on a pontoon boat trailer but you don't see this much because the floats are really large and usually stick out further. Therefore, you need to be sure the 19" of adjustment outside the frame will work with your boat/trailer combo. These will be the tallest available at 75".
