Question:

You show a used Firestone air bag set in the F22ZR description. Is this indeed the F22ZR product #? Reason I ask is that it shows up as a very different part number in the cart. Also, does it have the same warranty?? Im wanting to install these on my 2016 Thor Four Winds 31W. Please confirm that this is best product for my application RV sits low and I want to level it out. Also comment on the AirLift product. Is there a no-drill product offering from this manufacturer? Their warranty seems to be better than Firestones. Thanks.

The W217602458 that you're likely seeing is the manufacturer's part number, which will be different from ours - # F22ZR; but they are the same part and will carry the same warranty, etc. Additionally, the Firestone warranty is a lifetime limited warranty for the air bags, so the most important parts in the kit (and most susceptible to damage) are covered for life.

When it comes to comparing the Firestone Ride-Rite and Air Lift LoadLifter air bag kits, the Firestone uses double convoluted bags that have 4 layers of reinforced rubber and are installed on the plates using a rolled crimp seal that keeps them from getting pinched. The LoadLifter kits are good as well but they don't have as heavy-duty rubber as the Ride-Rite option, and it should also be noted that all Firestone kits are no-drill installation, where AirLift kits require drilling for installation. For these reasons I do prefer the Firestone kits to AirLift.

When it comes to your 2016 Thor Four Winds, there are a number of different possibilities that could be used that depend on the model number of your coach, but the Firestone # F22ZR will fit the following FourWinds models:

22E - Ford
26B - Ford
28Z
29G
31E
31L
31W

An AirLift kit like the # AL57242 would also work for the above mentioned models and the warranty, as mentioned above, is comparable between the two since they both have lifetime warranties.
