Question:

I need to replace winch ratchet on my Gato no 1400 winch handle. From the 60’s I think. Do you carry parts for that?

We don't have a confirmed fit for any replacement parts on that brand of winch, but if it were me and I wanted to keep the old winch, I'd give the Winch Ratchet Repair Kit by Dutton-Lainson # DL70455 a try. I obviously can't confirm that will work, so if you want to simply ensure you have a working winch then I'd replace it with the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 3,200 lbs # DL15440 for example.
