The Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit - 5,000 lbs Item # BX88230 is compatible to be used with any vehicle as long as where it will be mounted is structurally sound enough to tow the vehicle. For instance some off road steel bumpers with D-ring mounts can not be used to tow a vehicle because they have not been tested by the manufacturer to see if they can hold up to the stress the movement of the vehicle puts on that area.

For your 2006 Hummer H3 I recommend Demco Classic Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms Item # DM9518193. This kit will mount in place of your factory tow hooks to the existing mounting holes.

To complete your flat tow set up I also recommend the following:
Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 6,500 lbs Item # BX7380. This is a non binding tow bar which means after the arms lock out, the lever will release them once you have stopped, even on un-level ground.

Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit Item # RM-15267. This kit is designed to allow your H3 to receive light functions from the motor home. The diodes connect to factory wiring behind each taillight and protect the wiring from back feed from the motor home. Once this kit is installed it will not effect the normal use of the vehicle lights and is virtually unnoticeable. To use it you simply plug the umbilical into each vehicle and it is ready to use.

Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional Item # BLU37TR. This braking system is designed to be placed in the driver side floor board to apply the brakes in the towed vehicle. It is a proportional system so it will match the braking pressure applied from the motor home. The brake away switch that mounts to the front of the vehicle is a safety devise that if the vehicle separates from the tow bar, the pin is pulled and the braking system applies the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop.

RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs Item # RM-643. The safety cables are required when towing and act as a secondary safety device if the the base plate or tow bar should happen to fail.

Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles Item # RM-88400. This is designed so when the blinker is turned on in the RV the brake light on the vehicle does not override the turn signal.
