Question:

I have a F150 with 5 1/2 ft bed. I already have a reese ps30093 5th wheel hitch. Also I removed the rails only from my old chevy Silverado but left the under bed hardware. I realize the side winder should be installed. I pulled it fine with the 2008 chevy Silverado 5 1/2 ft. bed with no side winder. And was careful not to make tight turns. I dont pull the trailer much and park it for like a year at a time. Can I buy the RP50081-58 kit for the ford and be careful. Also can I buy the kit without the top rails to save some money. Thanks

In order to install a Reese or Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch like part PS30093 on a 2014 Ford F-150 you'll need the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit part # RP50081-58 or if you already have Reese rails just the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit part # RP50081.

In regards to turning clearance, if you don't have the budget for a rotating pin box then you could probably get by with converting the fixed hitch to a slider using the Reese Fifth Wheel Slider part # RP50024.
