Replacement for Kwikee Step Controller 9513 Manufactured Before 1999

Question:

I have a 1994 coach with Kwikee series 40 2 step. The control module has the number 9513 stamped on the module. The only replacement module I can find is 9510 which is for 1999-2005 units. What is the replacement for the 9513 model?

We do have a solution though there isn't an exact replacement module for a 9513 unit manufactured before 1999.

Instead, what you'll need to do is upgrade your steps with the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145.

This will give you a new - and better performing - motor, linkage, control unit, switch kit, and hardware. I have added links to a couple video reviews I recommend checking out as well.
