Question:
I just purchased a 2018 Nissan Titan SV, 5.6L V8 to tow a 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH travel trailer I will be purchasing. Travel trailer has a dry weight of 4,500lbs, and I was told the travel trailer has electric brakes. My Titan did not come with the factory installed electronic brake module. Will the #331-EBRH-ACCV2 work for my vehicle? If so, does that component come with all required wiring, etc? And lastly once installed, are there any requirements to have the dealership re-program anything with the electrical and/or braking system in my truck. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR is an excellent option for a 2018 Nissan Titan, arguably the best brake controller on the market. In order to install this brake controller you'll need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers part # RED39FR which is plug-in-play. There will be no reprogramming needed once installed, you will be set and ready to tow once you install the above two parts but that's it.
