Do SumoSprings for 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Affect Quality of Unloaded Ride
Updated 07/20/2020 | Published 07/18/2020 >
Question:
2019 1500 W/T # SS45FR. Do i need the 1 inch spacer? how harsh of a ride empty would it be? i tow 6000# 10 times a year. i like the fact that it would provide more pre-load but at what expense? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS45FR that fit your 2019 Chevy Silverado will not affect your unloaded ride quality essentially at all. There is a gap between the springs and the axle so the only time you may notice some slight stiffness is going over a pretty significant bump. Other than that the unloaded ride won't be affected, and if you take a look at the customer reviews on the product page you can see that other customers mention they don't notice them when unloaded.
You do not need a spacer and these will be a much easier way to enhance your suspension when towing than with an air bag system that constantly needs monitoring.
I have added a link to the installation instructions as well as a video review for you to check out of the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS45FR.
