Question:
I am purchasing my first electric bike and I want a safe bike carrier to hold it while traveling. It is a step through so I like the way your padded bars will hold It on. As a professional bike salesman do you think a standard bike and my E bike would travel safely on this particular model. Swagman CC z platform style? I’m worried about the weight. My E bike weighs 46 lbs

Thank you for all that information! While 46 lbs is actually pretty light for an E-Bike, the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650 is only rated for up to 35 lb bikes. Since you like the design of the XC I recommend using the Swagman Current # S64678 which has the same design but it's a little more robust and can hold 2 bikes weighing 60 lbs each.
If you're needing something a little more cost-effective then I recommend the Saris Freedom # SA4412B which has a little bit of a different design but is also rated for 60 lb bikes.
