Question:

I have a Falcon 2 tow bar which is currently set up to tow my Jeep Wrangler using the D-Rings on the off road bumper. I would like to use the Direct Connect Baseplate. How do I obtain the proper adapters for the end of my tow bar to pin to the baseplate? I know I will need a diode kit and a brake relay. I already have safety cables, a six-pin cable, and a breakaway switch for my Blue-Ox braking system. Is there anything I need that I have not mentioned?

For a direct connect base plate, you'd want to use # RM-524459-5. In order for your # RM-520 Falcon 2 tow bar to work with the base plate, you'll need to remove the D-Ring ends from the ends of the tow bar arms and replace them with the # RM-9200-4 replacement swivel collars.

Beyond that, It sounds as if you have a good handle on the parts you'll need. You could also need a high/low adapter if the height of the receiver hitch on your motorhome has a more that 3 inch height difference +/- compared to the 16 inch base plate height once they're installed (this assumes stock ride height on stock tire size).
