Question:
I have a 2008 odyssey van. there are 2 wiring kits available. one made by Curt and another cheaper one that you guys have a video on how to install it. Does the Curt one install the same way? It looks a little different than the other one

Expert Reply:
The Curt wiring harness # C56161 and the Tow Ready wiring harness # 118438 for the 2008 Honda Odyssey install the same way. Both install behind in a junction box located in the cargo area of the van. This is an ideal setup because it uses the factory location on the vehicle.
The Curt harness actually uses a newer technology inside the converter box. Both harnesses would work well for you. I have linked instructions and a video for you.
