Could 50 inch Thule Evo Crossbars Fit on 2018 Subaru Crosstrek

Your site recommends 53inch bars for the Crosstrek. I measured the raised rails on the car and they are approximately 43inch across. Would it be possible to use the 50inch bars or would that create a mounting problem?

I attached a picture that shows what the 53 inch long crossbar Wingbar Evo roof rack part numbers # TH711420 and # TH710401 looks like installed. There's a decent amount of overhang that if you wanted to substitute shorter bars like with part # TH711320 you certainly could.
