Id like to use the same key I use to unlock my vehicle to unlock the tailgate. Is there a way I can do this?

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock - Manual - Black # PAL6100 is a fit for your vehicle but does not have the ability to use that same vehicle ignition key. What most people prefer is the power and manual lock option which allows you to lock your tailgate with the power lock system already integrated in your vehicle. When you lock the doors, you lock the tailgate too and the same for unlocking. The manual lock then with separate key is only for situations where you want to keep that tailgate locked independently.
