There are a couple options for Reese 5th wheel base rails and installation brackets for your 2012 Ram 2500, one of which does not require drilling into your truck's frame to install, while the other requires drilling into the frame, though it is more economical.

- Drilling: Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30035-023
(Note: option does not fit if your Ram has overload springs)

The correct brackets are going to depend on the base rails you have. If you have the Reese Universal Base Rails # RP58058 you need the Reese Universal Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30439. If you have the Reese Universal Outboard Base Rails - Extended Length # RP30153 you need the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Brackets # RP56007.
