Question:

2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus, with the wimpiest engine. haha You reference in a previous question that both the C13171 and C13172 fit, yet you say the C13171 is less invasive. Will the C13172 fit my vehicle or no? What is the more invasiveinch aspect of it? Since this is a temporary vehicle for me for 1-2 more years, I will not pay the difference, just for convenience. In other words, I have more time than money and very willing and able to cut fascia or an exhaust system to install it. I love you guys and have bought many receivers and products from you. I just dont want to put a lot of money into it as it will be on a company car to be used for bike rack only.

The Curt Class III # C13172 is a fit for 2014-2018 Cherokee models, but isn't a fit for the 2019 according to Curt. For the 2019 model, if you wanted a concealed crossbar hitch you'd need the # C13395 as there was a slight change in the rear structure that won't allow the # C13172 to fit models after 2018. Originally, it was believed that the # C13172 was a simple carryover from the 2018 model year, but that wan't proven to be the case.
