HI, Can you tell me how much weight, on its own, this item can handle? 24inch Extension for etrailer Bumper Mounted RV Cargo Carrier Item # e99052 Thank you,

The 24" Extension for etrailer Bumper Mounted RV Cargo Carrier # e99052 is basically 500 lbs, but the reason it doesn't have a listed weight rating is because this is an extension piece for the etrailer RV Bumper Cargo Carrier like part # e99049. These carriers have a 500 lb weight capacity and the extension doesn't add any weight capacity.

Please note that the extension piece is meant to be used with the carrier and not just by itself as just the one arm support isn't enough to be a proper support.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
