Our universal style tow mirrors are very solid if you go with the right ones. The CIPA part # 11953-2 is a set that would work great on your 2008 Toyota Tundra. Our customers have left quite a few positive reviews for them and we know they fit well on trucks like yours. Plus these have a dual mirror setup which helps give the best viewing angle as possible.
