Question:
Which is better for my BMW X3? Is there one safer for my carbon frame bike based on the padding/strapping mechanism? Thanks!

Helpful Expert Reply:
For a carbon framed bike you are going to want to use a bike frame adapter bar like # UB01 so that the rack doesn't end up touching the delicate carbon frame material. Between the Yakima HangOut # Y02637 and the Saris Bones part # SA803 I would recommend the Saris as it's lighter weight, has a strap system that's easier to use, and has arced arms which help make loading the bikes a bit easier.
