DIY Installation of Transmission Cooler for 2006 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

Hello, Im looking at transmission cooler #D13502 as recomended by the site map for my F250/5.4 liter. Is this a DYI installation? Do you have an insrucion manual to look at online?

Yes, the transmission cooler is a fairly easy-do- it-yourself installation. For your 2006 Ford F-250 or F-350 with a 5.4 liter engine, you can purchase the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings, # D13025 to ease installation. This way you can avoid cutting the original transmission line and flaring the cut ends. For an at-home installation I would allow 2-1/2 to 3 hours or more for the installation.

Before ordering you should measure the available space in front of your radiator or air conditioning condenser and select the transmission cooler that will fit in the available space.
