Does Power Wire for curt Powered Tail Light Converter Need to be Connected for 2004 GMC Jimmy
Updated 07/03/2020 | Published 07/02/2020 >
Question:
Do I need a converter if my 4way plugs right in? I did get a Curt wiring kit that comes with a 3 to 2 wire tailgate converter and if so do I still need to ground it and run it from the battery? Thanks

I'm not seeing any custom fit wiring options for your 2004 GMC Jimmy so if you're installing something like the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 then yes, you will need to connect the ground to a clean, bare-metal surface and then route the power wire up to your battery to power the unit.
