Replacement Motor for Fan-Tastic Roof Vent

Question:

Fan-Tastic fan. Fan stopped turning, went on roof and cleaned push switch, even though it looked fine. Motor seems very warm while I was up cleaning the switch. Could it be I need a new motor? Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans Item # FVK8017-00 Lid does raise up and down, just the fan wont turn and its warm when I have it turned on. I have a 2011 Montana I wanted to add, the motor I need to replace does not have a reverse option nor does it have 3 speeds. I can not find any fan like that, seems they all have 3 speeds. This is the original fan that came with my 5th wheel. The box on the wall that controls the fan only have auto/manual and off for settings, and thermostat settings with a rain sensor. I just want to get the correct replacement.

It sounds like you do need a new motor, and Fan-Tastic roof vents will use the part you mentioned, the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00.

This is the only replacement motor for their fans, and is designed to be compatible with each of their models.
