Question:
How does the Draw tite hitch #41549 compare to Fords 2005 OEM hitch?

Expert Reply:
The main difference between the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41549 and the factory trailer hitch for a 2005 Ford F-150 is that the factory hitch is tied into the rear bumper and the Draw-Tite hitch is not. The weight capacity may also be different as well but I don't have these capacities for the factory hitch to compare to. The other notable difference will be price with the Draw-Tite option being much more cost effective.
