Thread Size on the U Bolts of the Aero Crossbar Fit Kit for Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Baskets

Question:
Im planning on using the U-Bolt from this part with some of my own mounting equipment. In order to do so, Id need to know the thread size. Is this 1/4 inch thread or less?

Yes the U bolts on the Aero Crossbar Fit Kit for Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Baskets and Steel Mesh Trays part # S280 will work out for your really well they are a M6 bolt size. I don't have the exact thread pitch available bu they are standard and if you needed nuts instead of thumb nuts you will be able to find them easily at the hardware store.
