Air Conditioner Recommendation for 48 Race Trailer

The best AC unit for your 48' race trailer is the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR65PV. This comes with a start capacitor, ceiling assembly for a non-ducted application, and a wall thermostat for easy adjustments to your temperature.

While this will help to provide some relief from the heat, I do believe that you'll need 2 of these for your longer trailer so I definitely recommend upgrading to the dual zone system # FR67FJ. This is basically the same setup just with 2 of everything (aside from the wall thermostat since they will both be on the same control unit). Last year we had someone purchase a 15,000 Btu unit in their 28' work trailer and after using it for a year he said that he does need to get a second unit which is why I recommend just going ahead with the dual zone system (see attached).

I have attached some review videos that you can check out, but I would like to say that we don't put any of our AC units through any type of schooling because they don't really need a diploma for the type of work they do.
