Question:

Im getting ready to buy a Ready Brute Elite II tow bar to tow my 2001 Dodge Dakota behind my RV. However, I dont know which Roadmaster base plate to buy. Ready Brute Elite references one with that is 1/2inch hole clevis and one with a 3/4inch hole clevis? Can you help?

The correct Roadmaster base plate kit you'd need for your 2001 Dodge Dakota is the part # 271-1 for if you have a 2 wheel drive truck part # 266-1 for if you have a 4 wheel drive truck. Now that said we don't have an adapter that can go from a Ready Brute tow bar to a Roadmaster base plate kit like we do for Ready Brute to Blue Ox with part # BX88297 so the base plate kit you'll want is the part # BX1939 with the adapter # BX88297.
